Empowerment-Economic and Social of the Common Man is the motto of
N.P Thareja , D94 Saket. To achieve this mission a Human Care Charitable Trust
was opened on 12 Aug, 1996 and this Trust has been all along endeavouring to do
their best to bring succour to the students, widows, sick, disabled and
financially weak persons and provide finances to the institutions which are
engaged in the social activities.
Born on 12 December,1925 in Mainwali (now in Pakistan), NP Thareja
moved to Delhi in 1947 and got married to Ms Kaushalya on 5 December,1949. His
two sons and a daughter and grandchildren are well settled and supportive of
their fathers' work.NP Thareja was a banking professional and retired as Asstt.
Gen Manager from State Bank of India on 31 December , 1985.
Even as a teenager , his aspiration was to serve humanity . He
also attained knowledge to the extent possible , on occult sciences of
Astrology, Palmistry and Numerology. He has authored a book - 'Palmistry made Easy' and has
written many articles on the subjects of Astrology , Palmistry and Numerology.
This knowledge of occult sciences proved a boon towards realising
his teenage aspirations to do something positive to alleviate the sufferings of
the underprivileged and needy. All contributions which come in for the services
being rendered to people by him , on the basis of Divine Sciences are being
channelised into the 'Human Care Charitable Trust' to fund its acitivities.
till date over Rs 300 lakhs have been disbursed by the 'Human Care Charitable
Trust' solely by the contributions of his clients. Even before HCCT came into
being in 1996, he donated generous contributions from 1985 onwards to various
religious and charitable organisations.
His 'Dream Project' of
adopting a village has come true in the form of adoption of village
"Kheri Kalan" by HCCT. In October 2012, a 'Gaushala' was
opened with 12 cows in this village. The opening of 'gaushala' has provided
employment opportunities to a number of persons who are connected in one way or
other with the 'gaushala'.Besides monetary benefit , the people are also
benefitting from the consumption of milk and milk products. Arrangements are
also in hand to generate employment by making manure from dung and also
production of Agarbatti, Dhoop etc . The required training is being provided to
the suitable people.
A free primary school with 250 children is also running in this
village now which will be later upgraded to middle level. A dispensary and
library have also been opened in the complex.
NP Thareja wants this village to become a 'model village' and
hopes that other people will also adopt such villages and uplift them from poverty. I wish that this dream of NP Thareja will come true and People and
Institutions will adopt villages for their upliftment.
